At Kolåsens Fjällhotell they care about animals and nature, and primarily choose ecologically and locally produced ingredients. The menus vary according to supply and demand, but the base is always Jämtland. They have their own sheep and pigs and buy reindeer and moose meat from animals in Skäckerfjällen. The trout and char comes from the lakes in Jämtland, and the
chantarelles and cloudberrys are picked on the mountain.

The restaurant is open for the winter season and serves dinner at 18:00 every evening. Dinner should be booked at the latest the day before. Always with reservation that it may be full. Lunch and café Saturday and Sunday 12-15

Staying at the hotel includes breakfast and you can also book half board which means a three-course dinner in the evening and a packed lunch of thermos from the breakfast buffet.
