Enjoy a great mountain experience from horseback

Information

Experience the majestic mountain landscape on horseback. You ride on Icelandic horses or the really strong Swedish draft horses that carries you through the rugged terrain.

The tours start from the idyllic village Huså and goes along forest and rapids along an old forest road and up the mountain. You will ride where there are no traces of humans and where you enjoy being one with the horse and the silence. During the tour, you are met by cultural landscapes and magnificent mountain scenery on the northern slopes of Åreskutan.

The tours include hot drink. Please bring small backpack with extra clothes.

During the tours on weekdays until week 7, you can bring your own lunch if desired. Other days we will ride to the local restaurant: Den Djupa Gruvans Krog where both coffee and lunch are available for purchase. Please note, your own packed lunch may not be consumed in the restaurant.

Please note, tours with fewer than 3 participants booked can be canceled or postponed to another day. Full refund if the tour is canceled.
